My Lisa 6: Seasons in the Sun

Lisa and I loved to sing long morbid ballads as loudly as we could.

We shout-sang and danced to “Billy, Don’t be a Hero” and “One Tin Soldier.” But our favorite song was the eerily prescient “Seasons in the Sun.”

As we shouted the lyrics, “Goodbye to you my trusted friend,” I think I unconsciously knew that the magic of my friendship with Lisa was precious and fleeting.
